SUMMARY "DAFFODILS" POEM WILLIAM WORDSWORTH

SUMMARY

In this poem,"Daffodils" the poet describes the soothing effects of the sights of nature. In his view, nature gives the relief to the poet when he is in grief. Once the poet was wandering lonely like a cloud. Suddenly he saw a large number of flowers named daffodils growing on the bank of the lake under a tree. The flowers were waving in the cool breeze. The flowers seemed to be dancing happily. The beauty of daffodils was more charming than the waves in the lake. The poet was very much delighted to see this beautiful sight.
When the poet reached home, he often remembered the sight of daffodils. Their sight left soothing effects on the poet. He felt great pleasure and joy to remind the sight of daffodils.
