Will two separate 50dB sounds together constitute a 100dB sound? Explain

Q: Will two separate 50dB sounds together constitute a 100dB sound? Explain
Ans: If there are sounds of 50db then they cannot constitute 100db. because:
Sound level is based on logarithm scale they cannot be added directly.

L=10log10 (log 1050+log 1050)=53.0 db

It will be equal to 53db.
