Q: It is impracticable to connect an electric bulb and an electric heater in series. Why?
Ans:  There are two reasons due to which it is impracticable to connect an electric bulb and an electric heater in series

  • Heater and bulb have different resistances and the potential will drop according to resistances.
  • If one appliance fuses other will not run.
