Q: Suppose we hang a loop of wire so that it can swing easily. If we now put a magnet into the coil, the coil will start swinging. Which way will it swing relative to the magnet and why?
Ans: When we put a magnet into the coil, the coil will start swinging. The reason is that when magnetic moves inside coil , according to Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction, the coil will oppose change, and same poles will be produced in the coil and because of repulsive forces between opposite poles coil will start swinging.
