School is a place where we learn how to read and write. It is a place where the concrete foundations of a nation are laid down. Apparently, it imparts education, but secretly, it grooms the young generation for life and its weighty responsibilities. It is natural for humans to love the place where they spend some time. Children spend a substantial part of their lives in schools. Therefore, they love their schools like their homes.

The 23rd of March was my last day in school. The bell rang at 8:30 a.m. as usual and we assembled in the school playground. I was very sad that day.All of my friends are there. All of us knew that we had to leave the school forever.

“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.”

Our headmaster addressed us and advised to be honest, dutiful and righteous in our future life. He felt satisfaction by saying that he was greatly delighted to see us fully prepared for the examination. He concluded his speech with the remark that he would be very pleased to hear that all of us had passed the examination with credit. We promised with ourselves that we will respect his wishes and prove ourselves according to his desires."A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops."
After the headmaster speech, out teacher in charge took us into our classroom. He gave us some instructions about answering the questions set in the paper. In the end, he gave us our roll number slips and prayed to God for our success. The meeting then broke up.

That day, the boys of the 9th class had arranged a tea party for us. We were very pleased to see these arrangements. We took tea with 8th class students and enjoyed a lot. When the party was over, our moniter made a short speech He thanked the 9th class students for arranging tea party for us. In the meantime, the photographer came. The teachers and the head master sat in chairs and we stood behind them in the three rows. Then we returned home with a heavy heart. I cannot forget my alma mater. It will remain alive in my heart. (330 words)
